Woodworking

It rained a bit at Abbey. Which means some things got rusty. Rusty enough for me to decide it was time to buy a bench grinder and turn it into a buffer. Which means it’s time for me start on The Grand Plan.

The Grand Plan is to build a number of smallish roll-around cupboards downstairs that will be spider-proof (a serious consideration), and pack everything away. Then, because cupboards are flat on top, I can put things on top of them, like a grinder.

So I’ve spent most of the weekend building roll-around cupboard Mark I. 14 half lap joints. About 64 screws. Lots of MDF. Put on the wheels, turn it upside down… of course, I forgot to take into account how tall it would be with the wheels, and it’s way to tall to put the grinder on.

Unless, of course, I want to put my nose to it!

Briefly (Again)...

Found this today. To all of the questions, for me, the answer is a definite “yes”.

Briefly, this is brief because it’s the Abbey this weekend, so I’ve been focused almost entirely on that. There you go. See you there.
