The Occasional Masthead

I have just returned from three days in Melbourne, where I was staying at the Holiday Inn in Flinders Lane. I didn’t get to see much, although I did go out walking on two mornings, carrying the camera with me. The complete set of photos is at flickr, but some are shown below as well.

Back from Sydney again, looking to catch up on various projects and knock them off the List, so I alternated today between working on a pair of fancy middle or upper class 15th century ladie shoes and the supporting framework for the shadecloth for the kitchen fire. Photos are below…

Went with Robyn for our Anniversary up to the woodshow at Maleny, thence Le Relais Bressan for lunch, where rabbit pie was eaten. Photos of some aspects of this below.

Spent the day sewing, yawning, and recovering from protein-rich bbq brunch. Pictures below.

I began making the new shadecloth to go over the kitchen that Jessica and I discussed. It will be roughly 3m square, in yellow and burgundy stripes, with dags at the front.
